Our field rations contains of 3 chambers: breakfast, lunch and dinner with Real Field Meal as the main meal in each chamber. The chambers are gas- and waterproof, and fits into the pockets of noregian uniform and combat waistcoat.
The whole ration pack has a shelf life of 3 years; however some of the contents, for example the main meal, have a shelf life of up to 5 years from the production date.

Field Ration 3500 kcal is a complete ration pack for 24-hours. By using 7 breakfast menus and 14 dinner menus, the FR 3500 kcal is packed into 7 different menus that give variation throughout a whole week. The calorie content is approx. 3500 kcal and each pack weighs 900 g. Preparation of meals and drinks requires approx. 3 litres of water.

Field Ration 4500 kcal is suitable for Special Forces that have a higher calorie requirement than average. The menus are the same as for FR 3500 kcal, but the main meal in the lunch and dinner chambers are bigger.

The calorie content is approx. 4500 kcal and each pack weighs 1.1 kg. Preparation of meals and drinks requires approx. 3.2 litres of water.
